Business Media Central Asia Launches Major Rebranding of Interlight Central Asia and Security & Building Central Asia

Kazakhstan is rapidly emerging as a new hub for leading global brands in the fields of lighting, technology, and security.

Business Media Central Asia (BMCA) announces a large-scale rebranding of the Interlight Central Asia and Security & Building Central Asia exhibitions, supported by international partners and a globally recognized exhibition brand. This strategic decision marks a new chapter in the development of the region’s exhibition industry and positions Kazakhstan among the world’s leading event destinations.

The renewed B2B platform will become a landmark event for the country, bringing together market leaders, top industry experts, and specialists in lighting systems, energy-efficient technologies, digital security, building automation, engineering systems, and sustainable urban infrastructure solutions.

Following recommendations from international partners, the Interlight Central Asia and Security & Building Central Asia 2025 exhibitions, originally scheduled for September 17–19, 2025, in Astana, have been rescheduled to the following year. The events will be presented in a new, world-class format. The organizers’ key objective is to transform the project into a leading international brand associated with Kazakhstan as a hub of innovation in lighting, energy efficiency, security, and smart technologies.

This move will enable an expanded business program featuring strategic sessions with global industry leaders, a stronger emphasis on smart technologies and sustainable infrastructure solutions, and further strengthen Kazakhstan’s position as a key center of the international exhibition industry in Central Asia.

Interlight Central Asia has traditionally served as a professional platform for engineers and designers, architects and investors, builders and developers. The exhibition presents advanced solutions in electrical engineering, technical and decorative lighting, and offers a rich business program including design and smart technology days, B2B meetings, workshops, and presentations.

Security & Building Central Asia brings together leading manufacturers and suppliers of security systems, building automation, and smart technologies. The event showcases innovations in building management, integrated security systems, advanced video surveillance, as well as solutions for smart homes and smart cities.

“Today, we are entering a new stage of exhibitions development. The full rebranding of our projects opens new horizons for Kazakhstan. Postponing the exhibitions to next year will allow us to deliver a stronger, more ambitious project that meets international standards,” said Anuar Malik, Director of BMCA Kazakhstan.

The organizers express their sincere gratitude to participants and partners for their understanding and support, emphasizing that this rebranding will become a key step in the development of the region’s professional community and create new opportunities for international cooperation. Kazakhstan is solidifying its position as a new center of the global exhibition industry in the fields of lighting, technology, and security.
