Almaty Addresses Street Lighting Issues – 10 Billion Tenge Allocated

Authorities in Almaty have launched a large-scale project to modernize street lighting. A budget of 10 billion tenge has been allocated for installing new lights and repairing old ones. The plan includes illuminating not only major roads but also courtyards, pedestrian areas, and parks to make the city safer and more comfortable for residents.

Special attention will be given to energy efficiency: the new lights will consume less electricity and have a significantly longer lifespan. Work is already underway, and residents will soon see the first results.
